This launcher has a spring grip (later copied by the Spring Support), which while advertised to improve launch power mostly exists to reduce strain on ripcords when attaching Beyblades to the launcher. As I have still broken a ripcord in this launcher, this doesn't seem to work that well either.

Silver versions are prone to accelerated UV damage similar to the original colour of Seaborg, resulting in fragility. As such, one must be careful with these launchers. Hasbro's red version should be stronger.

However, these have a secret that wasn't advertised - they have a 9 tooth gear like the EZShooter Power Custom. This makes them one of the more readily accessible launchers with power in excess of a regular EZShooter, and including a grip is a bonus for some, though the much rarer Power Custom is perhaps more practical, especially having compatibility with the Catapult Grip and Customize Grip.
