Right Engine Gear (Metal Flat)
Spin Gear: Right Engine Gear (Metal Flat)
Engine Gear with a wide metal tip, similar in width to SG Metal Flat Base (Gaia Dragoon V Version).
While it is perhaps the best offensive tip on any Engine Gear, its height and weight distribution is disadvantageous and it is entirely outclassed by SG Metal Flat Base (Gaia Dragoon V Version).
Tip makes deep banking needed for a flower pattern, and the Engine Gear activation causes it to break this pattern if it is in progress, as such with First Clutch and Normal Bases it is best left unwound.
Final Clutch Bases are generally better than First Clutch (which tend to only serve to break flower patterns and cause Self-KO's), albeit only due to the chance of a desperate last minute attack which generally lacks the speed to do anything but often manages a loose flower pattern. Were the available bases less tall, this might have been useful with an Attack Ring like Square Edge, however Engine Gear setups are too tall to make use of it.
Outclassed, but not unusable, one of the best standard Engine Gears - and of course, it was the one that Hasbro didn't release a CEW version of.
It should be noted that if one for some baffling reason desperately wants to use a Metal Flat tip in an Engine Gear Blade Base, SG (Full Auto Clutch Version) Shaft can be placed in Right Customize Gear (Free Shaft Version), which fixes it in place.
